For more than a decade, I architected and operated the technology infrastructure behind America's Funniest Home Videos and related properties — the most prolific UGC-to-broadcast pipeline in the business. Starting with the original AFV media cloud, I led multiple platform and MAM migrations as the library scaled, ultimately managing 3 million media assets across production, post, clearance, rights management, licensing, and distribution — supporting 300+ users and multi-million-dollar revenue streams. The custom UGC ingest and rights acquisition workflow I designed powers all the shows to this day, along with production tools ranging from B2B licensing portals to consumer websites and mobile apps.
Migrated AFV's clip library to its first cloud-based MAM and built the original UGC uploader — moving an iconic franchise from tape to file-based workflows.
Directed the second MAM migration, launched AI auto-tagging, and scaled the stack into a multi-million dollar digital content business across 20+ distribution platforms.
Led the migration to Iconik, deployed natural language search via TwelveLabs, and scaled the platform to 3M+ assets supporting 300+ users.
